On 2-20-2023 to 2-24-2023 our department participated in the BIP Course on Neurological Physiotherapy in Kuopio, Finland. The department was represented by 7 undergraduate students and two Assistant Professors Dr. Thomas Besios and Dr. Zacharias Dimitriadis. During the week the Professors gave lectures (Assistant Professor Dr Thomas Besios, Development and function of the CNS: context in physical therapy intervention and Assistant Professor Dr Zacharias Dimitriadis: The effect of Resistant exercises in spasticity on people with Neurological Disorders). The Physiotherapy departments of the University of Thessaly, University of Savonia and Applied Sciences of Finland and Charles University of Prague participated. A total of 7 professors from all Universities presented lectures, while the students collaborated with each other to write and present articles on Neurological Physiotherapy. Visits were made to research laboratories (Gait Analysis, Virtual Reality, Robotics and 3d Printing), to Neurodance and Rehabilitation Centers.
