Award and funding, in the form of a grant, of the research protocol “The TELEWEAR–CR study”, granted by the Hellenic Cardiological Society during the 45th Panhellenic Cardiology Congress (October 31 – November 2, 2024, Crete).
Title: “Investigation of the effectiveness and safety of an innovative supervised tele-rehabilitation program using wearable sensors in patients with Coronary Artery Disease – The TELEWEAR-CR study”. Exercise Clinical Physiology and Rehabilitation Research Laboratory, Department of Physiotherapy, University of Thessaly.
The scientific lead of the study is Associate Professor Garyfallia Pepera. The research team includes Ph.D. candidate Varsamo Antoniou, members of the three-member advisory committee, Professor Eleni Kapreli, and Dr. Konstantinos Davos. Additionally, the team is further supported by Ph.D. candidate Eleni Karagianni.

Best Undergraduate Oral Presentation Award
At the 32nd Panhellenic Physiotherapy Conference of the Panhellenic Physiotherapists’ Association, the Best Undergraduate Oral Presentation Award was presented to students Giorgos Pougatsias and Katerina Lioliou for their undergraduate research project titled: “Evaluation of the Effectiveness and Satisfaction of the FIFA 11+ for Kids Injury Prevention Program in Young Football Players. The project was supervised by Professor Eleni Kapreli, with additional contributions from Panagiota Matsia and Despina Ignatoglou.
